Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) for 2022 - 2024

The Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) identifies chemical substances that are designated to be evaluated by Member States of the European Union (EU) over a three-year period. In this blog post, we take a look at the CoRAP for the years 2022 - 2024 and the chemical substances slated for evaluation during this time period.

CoRAP List

The CoRAP list includes chemicals whose manufacture and/or use are suspected to pose human health risks or risks to the environment. Evaluation is intended to help clarify the potential and extent of such risks. As the plan is updated on an annual basis, substances may be added and/or withdrawn for the years in each period. Substances scheduled for more immediate evaluation are included in the first year of a given CoRAP period, and selected Member States have 12 months to assess chemicals slated for that first year (beginning from the date of the CoRAP’s publication).

CoRAP for 2022 - 2024

Of the 27 chemical substances designated for evaluation in the 2022 - 2024 CoRAP:

  • 4 are scheduled for evaluation in 2022
  • 14 are scheduled for evaluation in 2023
  • 9 are scheduled for evaluation in 2024
  • 25 of the 27 substances were published previously, in the CoRAP for 2021 - 2023
  • 2 of the 27 substances are new
  • Substances were evaluated among 10 Member State authorities

A full list of CoRAP substances (encompassing previous years) may be found on the European Chemicals Agency website.

The chemicals intended for evaluation in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively, are shown in the tables below, along with their associated data.
